1- Documenting Student Research Projects at Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University

Aim of the Project

Establishing a searchable data base for the students’ research projects (1981- currently) through collecting, categorizing, abstracting and storing on compact discs as well as displaying on the internet the available research projects. For more information click here www.crdfomscu.org

 

2- Establishment of an internal quality assurance system Funded by Quality Assurance and Accreditation Project (QAAP)

 

Main goal of the project

The ultimate goal is to develop an internal quality assurance system, at the FOM/SCU. This assures a totality of systems, resources and information that are devoted to maintaining and improving of the quality and standards of teaching scholarship and research, and of students learning experience.

3- Introducing computer-assisted training sessions in the clinical skills lab, Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University. Higher Education Enhancement Project Fund   (HEEPF)

Objectives

  • Development of standardized audiovisual aids for the clinical skills lab.

  • Finalization of the educational computer-assisted materials.

  • Implementation of the new teaching methodology on one batch of students.

  • Evaluation of the program outcome and impact on students’ learning.
